Make the most of your one-on-ones

If you’re like most business owners, you likely have at least a handful of vendors supporting your businesses. As year-end approaches meetings are happening to recap 2021 and plan for 2022. Whether you meet annually, quarterly, or monthly with your partners, these meetings need to be productive for both parties.

Realistically, there are only so many hours in a day and sometimes our schedules don’t align for consistent monthly check-ins. When that happens, know that our role as partner is still actively at work and not just gong through the motions of daily tasks. Making time for this year-end meeting goes beyond the numbers and technicalities.

Our team’s goal is to be integral in each client’s business, which is why each client has a dedicated team they (literally) know by name and rarely has turnover. Businesses are ever-shifting environments, in ever-shifting markets, but with O|Miga’s approach we stay aware of the current landscape and know when and how to align, or realign business and partnership goals. Every time we get the chance for one-on-ones, we want to check in on any strategic adjustments that can help progress the business.

At the very least we’ll review product performance, compare performance against previous goals, discuss gaps and set future goals, and begin to put together an action plan.
